'Mother Goose' has been Matthew's first production (!) and, on the whole, he felt it had been a fantastic success.

As costs were high, it had been decided to perform 8 nights and 2 matinees, and we had nearly full houses.

He commended the chorus for all their hard work - and the principles for the fun and characterization which they had brought to each part.
He particularly thanked Helen England for stepping-in for Beth when she was ill, in such a professional manner.

Thanks also to Simon Felton for building the set, Andrew Harthill for lights, Carol Page for make-up, Meg Reece and Sarah Needham for Prompt; and Phylllis Pardoe and her team of Matrons. He was extremely pleased with the maturity of the children throughout the whole production.

Nikki Davies had worked hard as the Production Manager - a great support and a great asset to the Society.

Harry had been very helpful with the music and thanks, of course, Peggy Cox, whose support and mentoring over the years had given him the experience and confidence to produce such a successful show.
