HOW GOOD THE SCHOOL IS
"This is a good school that gives good value
for money.
It successfully develops the potential of its pupils so that, by the ages
of seven and nine, they are confident,
learn independently and achieve very good
academic standards.
Pupils are very eager to learn, and are very
interested in their work and behave well.
The quality of teaching is very good.
The Headteacher, staff, governors and parents all
work closely together in partnership. |

Standards in speaking & listening, reading, writing, mathematics &
science are well above average by the age of

The school is led by a hard-working head
& governing body
All teaching is 'Good' - with 6 out of 10
lessons being 'Very Good' or 'Excellent'
Pupils are keen & enthusiastic. Good
attitudes to learning & very good behaviour contribute to the very
good relationships within the school
Pupils with Special Educational Needs make 'Very
Good progress'
Provision for pupils' social, moral, spiritual & cultural development
is 'Very Good'
The quality & range of learning opportunities provided for all pupils

the highest 5% of all schools - Nationally, and well above average in
comparison with similar schools |

Partnership with Parents is 'Very Effective'
The Range of Extra-Curricular Activities is 'Much
Better' than comparable schools |
