The Robin
Hood is situated on the old road linking
Belbroughton and Chaddesley Corbett.
It is a lovely little hamlet with plenty of interesting buildings.
The settlement developed around the Belne Brook which provided the power
for the woollen mill which is still on the opposite bank to the pub.
Steve and Debbie Thomas run the pub; arriving here just
before the new millennium, they took the plunge of running their own place
in
November 1999 as tenants.
Steve is no stranger to the licensed trade - having previously worked for
Beefeater for 22 years, starting as a Second Chef he worked his way up to
Area Manager.
He was based for many years at The Queen and Castle in Kenilworth.
Hailing from Solihull, Debbie and Steve were childhood sweethearts and
have now have been married for 26 years. |
