FLOWER SHOW & FETE 2008

We are very grateful to all who helped and supported this year's fete which was very successful in raising over £4,100, despite the poor weather forecasted for the day. The winners from the Grand Draw and the Cup Winners from the fantastic Show were published in last month's magazine.

Following a recent meeting of the Fete Committee we are pleased to have been able to distribute £4,100 among the following organisations: Looking ahead, we are planning to hold next year's fete on Saturday 15 August 2009

There will be an open meeting in the church on the evening of Monday 12 January 2009 where we would like all those with ideas for improving the fete or helping in anyway to come along – more details will in the December magazine.
