There are no steps or ramps to negotiate on the Ground Floor.

The Main Hall has the capacity to seat 120 people (80 when seated at tables). It has a sprung wooden floor and there is a raised stage at one end. Adaptable lighting enables the right atmosphere to be created for any occasion. Tables and chairs are provided and, for the hard-of-hearing, a 'loop hearing aid' amplification system is fitted.

The Multi-Function Room, which adjoins the Main Hall, has a capacity of 40 (25 when seated at tables). It's slip-resistant floor makes it ideal for use as a bar, food servery, or as an extension to the Main Hall. It can be hired separately if a Main Hall booking does not require it.

The Kitchen has a large serving area opening-out into the Multi-purpose Room, which can be closed-off by means of a roller-shutter. It is fitted with two sinks, a fridge, a cooker with double hob and double oven, and kettles. There are extensive working services. Cups, saucers, spoons and tea-plates are provided. The Kitchen has its own direct access for caterers.

Toilet provision on the Ground Floor includes 'Baby Changing' facilities and a dedicated Disabled-adapted Toilet

There is a Wheel-Chair lift to the stage level and the first floor - with access directly from the car park.
Car park spaces are reserved at the front of the building for those with restricted mobility.

The Conference Room has a capacity of 60 (40 when seated at tables). This first floor room is light and airy; and ample electrical sockets and a fitted projection screen and overhead mounted video projector make it ideal for meetings, small conferences, workshops or training sessions, as well as adult-education classes.

The Committee Room / Seminar Room is the smallest meeting room, holding 12 people. Its intimate nature makes it ideal for small gatherings. It has a telephone connection point and desk-level electrical sockets, making it suitable for I.T. training.

The Kitchenette, with sink and draining-board in fitted units, is equipped with kettle and microwave oven. Cups, saucers, spoons and tea-plates are provided, enabling the first floor to be fully self-contained.

The toilet on this level is fully equipped for use by the Disabled.

Grants from the Lottery Community Fund, other bodies and charities - and the generosity of parishioners - have enabled this lovely Victorian building to be renovated, extended and refitted in 2001, so that it now provides a perfect setting for any event.

The Main Hall boasts some excellent features, including modern heating and ventilation systems, spacious and well-equipped kitchen and modern toilets (including Disabled) and baby-changing facilities.

With easy access and a large car park at the rear of the hall, it is ideal for shows, concerts, exhibitions, receptions and all types of social events.

The Conference Suite on the First Floor consists of two meeting rooms with their own kitchen and toilet facilities. Access from the car park is through a separate entrance enabling the first floor to be used whether or not the Ground Floor rooms are in use.

Catering arrangements for functions are the responsibility of the hirer. Details of local caterers can be obtained from the Booking Secretary.
The Hall is fully Licensed for Music and Performance (there is a Db limiter in the Main Hall), as well as for the sale and distribution of Alcoholic Drinks. You will be asked to contact the Licensee when booking such activities. Please mention if you anticipate booking 'Pig Roasts' and 'Bouncy Castles' because restrictions may apply (for the convenience of our neighbours).

The complete Hall or any of it's various rooms are Available for Hire - as well as contract hire for a regular daily, weekly or monthly  repeat booking.
Charges are set on a morning, afternoon or evening session rate.
Prices also depend on whether the letting serves a Parish function or is to an outside individual or agency (The Hall is a Charity established to further local community aims).
