CHADDESLEY CORBETT VILLAGE HALL You are invited to the Annual General Meeting of the Village Hall on Tuesday
April 1st 2008 at 7.00pm at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall. For all those aged 18 and over living in the Parish and surrounds, this is
your opportunity to hear about the previous year's activities and future plans,
and to receive the Annual Accounts. Carol A. Page - Chairman GROUND FLOOR The Main Hall has the capacity to seat 120 people (80 when seated at tables). It has a sprung wooden floor and there is a raised stage at one end. Adaptable lighting enables the right atmosphere to be created for any occasion. Tables and chairs are provided and, for the hard-of-hearing, a 'loop hearing aid' amplification system is fitted. The Multi-purpose Room, which adjoins the Main Hall, has a capacity of 40 (25 when seated at tables). It's slip-resistant floor makes it ideal for use as a bar, food servery, or as an extension to the Main Hall. It can be hired separately if the Main Hall is not in use. The Kitchen has a large serving area opening-out into the Multi-purpose Room, which can be closed-off by means of a roller-shutter. It is fitted with two sinks, a fridge, a cooker with double hob and double oven, and there are extensive working services. Cups, saucers, spoons and tea-plates are provided. UPPER FLOOR The Conference Room has a capacity of 60 (40 when seated at tables). This first floor room is light and airy; and ample electrical sockets and a fitted projection screen make it ideal for meetings, small conferences, workshops or training sessions, as well as adult-education classes. The Committee Room / Seminar Room is the smallest meeting room, holding 12 people. Its intimate nature makes it ideal for small gatherings. It has a telephone connection point and desk-level electrical sockets, making it suitable for I.T. training. The Kitchenette, with sink and draining-board in fitted units, is equipped with kettle and microwave oven. Cups, saucers, spoons and tea-plates are provided, enabling the first floor to be fully self-contained. The toilet on this level is fully equipped for use by the Disabled.

The Main Hall boasts some excellent features, including modern heating and ventilation systems, spacious and well-equipped kitchen and modern toilets (including Disabled) and baby-changing facilities. With easy access and a large car park at the rear of the hall, it is ideal for shows, concerts, exhibitions, receptions and all types of social events.
Catering arrangements for functions are the responsibility of the hirer. Details of local caterers can be obtained from the Booking Secretary. The complete Hall or any of it's various rooms are Available for Hire on a day-rate basis - as well as contract hire for a regular daily, weekly or monthly repeat booking.Charges are set on a morning, afternoon or evening session rate. Prices also depend on whether the letting serves a Parish function or is to an outside individual or agency (since we are a Charity established to further local community aims).
